Motion Wheelchairs Client testimonials

My name is Ryan Jans, I have been a customer of Motion Wheelchairs since the business began. I am very happy with the service l have received in that time. The guys and girls have been great to work with and are totally committed to providing the best chair they can. It's a family owned business so l find it very easy to communicate with them.

I have a movement disorder, (athetoid cerebral palsy quadriplegia) which means I have involuntary movement. My wheelchair was customised by Albert to cater for my special needs. He has many innovative ideas which were absolutely brilliant. l absolutely love my chair.

I use an Omni control and a proportional head control, that means I control my chair with my head. I have the ability to tilt in space, I can stretch my legs with power elevating legrests. My backrest can tilt back so I can do a full stretch (my Orthopaedic surgeon loves that cos l can stretch my hips). l also have extensive pressure care throughout my chair so I don't have any problems with pressure areas any more.

Leon made me a super duper stainless steel drink holder... I love it (and it's never empty!)

My chair is a mid wheel drive and has great suspension so l have the capability to go off road on rough surfaces. I live in the country and we don't have foot paths.

My name is Kim Jago, I am 32 years old female confined to an electric wheelchair, my disability is Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

To be completely honest, I can't remember the first time I meet Albert and Leon, I feel as though I have know them all my life.

Having a disability in life is something you are unable to control and being confined to an electric wheelchair can sometimes make life even harder especially considering my wheels are my legs. Life has always been made easier knowing Albert and Leon. Both of these guys deserve an award for customer service, kindness and willingness. Whenever something goes wrong with my chair (electrically or other) I know these guys are only a phone call away.

Many times I have called Motion Wheelchairs and asked if I can pop down to get the guys to look at my chair and never ever have one of them said, "no I am sorry Kim, we are unavailable or too busy". It is a feeling that no one can describe unless you are in the situation. My worst fear is to get stranded and never in my years knowing Albert has this happened.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Motion Wheelchairs for being so considerate, caring and compassionate. You guys are truly amazing and I always look forward to my next visit.
